This embroidered black off-the-shoulder dress is pretty, trendy, colorful and super-versatile! It is simple and classy, yet it’s fun and feminine! The Embroidered Mini Bag completes the look!

…Embroidered everything is the official trend of the season and I love it! Why? First of all because I love all the pretty flowers (I guess you can already tell that based on my Healthy Sweets photos right?🍰)
But all these embroidered details also remind me of some of my favorite childhood memories when me and my mom used to craft those beautiful embroidered napkins and hand-towels! We used to buy all the different colorful threads and it was so much fun sawing all those flowers and ornaments on the fabric!
…If you like embroidery, these days you’re truly lucky because you you can see it everywhere: on handbags, shoes (I love these mules from Aldo – they are so pretty!), denim (I love this jacket by Sunset & Spring – it’s cropped which fits my not-so-tall (I’m 5’4) frame nicely. But this regular-cut denim jacket is also so lovely!) and utility jackets (I actually bought this embroidered anorak from Aqua), scarves, hats… You name it!
Today I’m wearing this beautiful embroidered off-the-shoulder black dress and I am totally obsessed with it! 🌺🌼🌸 And it isn’t just because of all the embroidery. It’s also because this dress is very versitile!
The embroidered accents are trendy and girly… But the dress itself is black and and it’s both comfy and classy! Besides I’m really loving the Off-The-Shoulder trend because it’s SO feminine and romantic… 💐
And you know what also makes this dress so versatile? It’s a shift-dress. Which means that you can wear it to a dinner and not worry about holding your tommy in afterwards 🙂 But if you want to accentuate your waste you can also just tie a simple sweater around it.
…Well… any other time I’d probably go for a belt if I wanted to accentuate my waste… But since tying a sweater is becoming a huge trend now, I thought that it’s a good idea to implement it since I love taking a sweater with me when I go out in case I catch a chill 🙂 and having it tied around my waste instead of me holding it in my hands is far more convenient, don’t you agree? 🙂
Finally let me say a word about my little embroidered bag. I loved this bag when I first spotted it in the store because it looked so pretty and cool at the same time! And of course it matches my dress and any other embroidered items that I decide to wear! Unfortunately everyone else liked it as much as I did and so this particular bag is currently sold out on-line. (I’ll let you know when it reappears again, I promise!) 🙂
But this little black bag is just as pretty (it’s also embroidered, featuring a couple of fun stud accents), and if I didn’t spot the Nasty Gal’s little cross body that I’m holding in my hands here, I’d definitely get this beautiful bag from Topshop.
