Spring is officially here and I thought that you’d like it if I did this overview of the best pretty, yet casual outfit ideas to wear this season! With the weather still moody as it warms up in the afternoon to only cool down at night, every Spring I find myself craving to wear something that resonates with that special “Spring” mood!
Luckily, the “trends” this season are on our side as there isn’t a shortage of feminine fabrics like silk and lace, and soft colors like pastels and florals to choose from! So scroll down for these beautiful, but everyday wearable Spring outfit and trend ideas!
THE BEST PRETTY & CASUAL SPRING OUTFITS AND TRENDS
Oh, all the Spring florals! While florals seem to have been trending all year long, Springtime is when the florals are as appropriate as ever!
Whether it’s a flirty floral dress, accessories or the details on your outwear – the florals always add this feminine fresh touch to whatever we wear!
When I think of Spring, I always see something pastel in my mind! Feminine, light and romantic, they remind me of the Spring Holidays and of all the blossoms that we’ll soon be surrounded by outdoors!Whether it’s if you choose to go head-to-toe pastels or add a few pastel details to your outfit – in the Spring you’ll never go wrong!
This season’s favorite pastel colors are the periwinkle blues, mint-greens, the still trending lilacs and the ever-trending pinks! Oh, and speaking of the pinks…
I just had to dedicate a paragraph to the pinks alone! Not only because like I mentioned in my last post – pink has been trending for what seems like forever, and it’s seriously “in” again!
Truthfully – literally anything you wear in this color will instantly make you feel pretty, feminine and desirable!
It’s no secret that I love wearing dresses (they’re a one-piece outfit)! But I’m especially excited about picking a new dress in the Spring!
After the winter’s colds when I have to ayer bulky outwear over my everything else, I can finally pick a few pretty dresses to show off!
When it comes to dresses there’re so many options to choose from, but as I’m always trying to match my desire to look pretty with my everyday busy mom of two reality, I like going for the most versatile styles such wrap, slip, shift and fit-and-flare dresses!
THE COORDINATING SETS
A smart twist on a “one piece outfit” the sets make matching the tops and the bottoms a no-brainer! Well, that’s unless you want to be a fashion-play and match the parts of your set with a different item! If you do – I say – nothing’s wrong with that!
A CASUAL TOP + A MIDI SKIRT
My go-to outfit, I’m especially loving it in the Spring! With so many pretty midi skirts to choose from, you can dress them up them with a feminine lacy blouse or dress them down with a casual top!Oh, and I’m kind of obsessed with the currently trending silk midis! I’m thinking of buying a few more of them this Spring!
Although the winter had officially passed, the days might still be cool, and the nights can be freezing!
This is why some sort of a light outwear is an important part of a Spring outfit! My favorites are always the casual cardigans, since they’re so easy to put on and take off! Or I can also slip it off one shoulder to adjust it to the weather and to how I feel in the moment!
My other favorite Spring outwear options to consider are a cute sweater or a casual jacket!
Take off these boots! OK… maybe not just yet, but soon! I still wear boots (as you can see here) if it’s chilly outside! (Believe it or not – it does get chilly in April in LA!)But soon, very soon – I’ll be able to move into a cute pair of summery sandals or the comfy espadrilles! I must say – I love this espadrilles trend! It’s so feminine and a little bit nostalgic!
As for the bags the Spring bags are always bit flirty and usually soft-colored! I think that Spring is definitely the time to find the prettiest bag of them all!
The jewelry… Well, as much as I like wearing one of my favorite dainty necklaces or earrings, it’s also fun to put on something that speaks Spring! For instance a pair of floral earrings! Or a pastel-colored necklace!
…Did I cover everything? I hope that I’ve covered all the bases for what anyone who likes to dress prettily, yet needs to stay casual and comfy in the spring needs!
