Rainbow prints have been a major trend this season! Yet, although I love seeing all things bright and cheerful such as the rainbows, I am not necessarily a big fan of wearing such things! It’s just that… bold colors aren’t usually very flattering! They are like this loud shouting that draws attention away from your natural beauty…
But this was what I thought of wearing a rainbow-y outfit until… I saw this dress! And – guess what? It changed mine mind completely about wearing a bold print!
Isn’t this dress pretty and romantic? See? Not only the dainty florals look uber-feminine!
So after brainstorming a few more rainbow outfit ideas I ended up with a few that I’m sure any woman will love including in her wardrobe! For two reasons: #1. the rainbow is trending! #2. rainbow is so fun to wear!
3 Flattering Ways To Wear The Rainbow Trend:
1. A romantic maxi dress.
Just like the dress I’m wearing! Because when the bold rainbow is paired with a romantic flowing silhouette, it lands this unexpected twist on a feminine maxi dress! Actually, it’s a very interesting and vibrant “twist”, don’t you think? You can wear this dress to a party, paired with high heels and a clutch. Or, paired with a denim jacket this dress makes a pretty choice for the everyday or vacation wear!
2. The details.
If you aren’t sure if you want to wear the rainbow from head to toe – you don’t have to! A few vibrant accessories might just do the trick! This way you can stick with your favorite black/ white/ blush outfit, yet the fun bright accessories will give it a summery twist and uplift your mood by making you smile as you glance at them!
3. The Pastels.
Finally the rainbow doesn’t have to be super-bold! You can wear the rainbow in pastels! Still just as vibrant and fun, the pastels are universally flattering! I love everything from the pastel-printed dresses and skirts to these fun and pretty pastel rainbow accessories!
So what do you think? Did I inspire you to give the rainbow trend a try? I hope that I did, because trying new things is like discovering something new within yourself! I guess, this is my favorite part of giving something new a try! 🙂
