So… did you have lots of fun last night Trick-Or-Treating? …I honestly wouldn’t probably gone out last night if it wasn’t for my kids. But when we walked around our neighborhood with my boys gathering all that candy, it was just so much fun to be a part of the Halloween Crowd, with everyone sharing that same fun-having spirit! And in the end of the day, this positive, fun mood was my ultimate last night’s treat!
OK. Now question #2: Did you have all these SWEET treats? 🙂 And… were they healthy? 🙂
…I’ll tell you what: I think that if you crave a treat – you MUST have it! Just because it’s the good-mood stuff! And the good-mood stuff is just as important as the healthy dieting when it comes to maintaining our flawless beauty! 🙂 Seriously! 🙂But…if a treat could also be… Healthy-er? Well… you know me – I always want to have the cake and eat it, right?
And so – as I was looking at all that candy being shared and eaten all around the place last night, I just HAD to come up with a healthyfied version of one of the most famous Halloween Treats – the Crunch Bars!

Healthy Reduced Calorie Crunch Bars
Healthy Reduced Calorie Crunch Bars are all-natural, low-fat and no-bake. All you need as the three simple ingredients about about 5 minutes of your time to make this healthy home-made treat!
- 3 cups rice crisps*
- 2/3 cup powdered peanut butter*
- 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate
Melt the chocolate in a microwave or over a water-bath. Mix the powdered peanut butter with 2/3 cup of warm water. Stir well.
In a large bowl stir the chocolate and the peanut butter together. Pour in the crisps and stir until the everything is evenly incorporated.
Line a 9X9 baking dish with some parchment paper. Pour in the chocolate dough and press it down.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm. Cut into 16 bars. Enjoy!
